Why are people so triggered?
My dad was in the air force for 20 years.
He is a very intelligent man and has lots of great attributes, but . . .
He literally joined the military because he flunked out of college his freshman year, and then his mom kicked him out of the house.
He was working odd jobs and had no direction in life, so he joined the Air Force.
At first he was a bomb/nav technician on B52S during the Vietnam war.
Later he became a computer programer and eventually the sole network manager/IT tech for a huge squadron that designs and tests missiles.
What this guy is saying about the military is absolutely true.
It was true for my dad.
At the same time the vision they show you in the commercials of the military being the gateway to a rewarding and meaningful career was also true for my dad.
The military is actually an incredible way for young people, who are maybe floundering, just like this guy says, to really take their lives in a much better direction.
Think someone needs kick shit out of him!
